Historic building with an excellent location right in the centre of the historic city.

The location is good. The rooms are of good size, particularly the bathroom. The restaurant is well considered. Overall finish and maintenance is good.

The room seemd quite noisy because of street noise (hard to keep out without firmly shutting the windows, which may not be a good idea in summer because of the poor air-conditioning) and, worse, noise and conversations from adjacent rooms. The room furnishing were adequate, but not particularly welcoming. The sense is of a hotel that could be much more comfortable if the management went that little bit extra.

The room was spacious, but we needed a power point for the kettle.

Nicely appointed hotel, exceptionally clean, attentive staff, location in quiet neighborhood close to old town was magnificent.

Rooms are small

Had a great time at Albergo Cappello! The restaurant served delicious food, and the staff went out of their way to. Just wish the breakfast could be a bit more organized, but overall, a cozy spot to explore Ravenna!

The Albergo Cappello is ideally located to see the wonders of Ravenna. The staff are universally hospitable, friendly and helpful. There were so many little touches to make one feel comfortable, at home, and completely at ease. This is a small hotel, but they provide excellent accommodation and service with grace, gentility, and certainly seem to like what they are doing and the opportunity to help their guests.

Breakfast arrangements could use fine-tuning. It varied widely in efficiency on different mornings. Parking is awkward, and the room lacked sufficient power points, forcing us to use the kettle in the bathroom, which isn't exactly ideal for safety. The mini bar's bottled water felt misleadingly like it should've been complimentary, as no pricing was indicated in the room.

It is in the centre of a really lovely historic town. For a tourist of Ravennas fabulous frescoes and interesting hubbub I can't imagine a better place

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, with the hotel located right in the center of town. The room was excellent, with fine hand-blown glass chandeliers and beautifully restored frescoes. The breakfast offered a good variety to start the day, served in a lovely courtyard area.
